Singapore My Dream Destination

I traveled to Singapore with family through Kesari Tours, which was my best experience of life.
we all assembled at Mumbai International Airport and Kesari guide Mr. Santosh Dhanavde has assured us that we should keep our worries here and just have experience and enjoy.

Accordingly we boarded flight and reached at Singapore. A luxury bus was waiting for us to take us to one of the best hotel in Singapore, Changi Village. The journey to hotel was also an experience, as along side the road was Singapore's golf course was there. The lush green lawns and plantation was eye catching. The Hotel was too good and rooms were excellent.

In evening we were taken to Little India area, I felt like I am in India only. The area has got so many Indian Restaurants and we were served with Indian thali dinner there. The roads were in good condition and the traffic was so much disciplined. Signals for crossing the road, everything was systematic.

Next day we were taken to Santosa Island. Again the journey was through luxury bus and after getting down, all tickets were ready to go in, We boarded cable car that took us to Santosa Island. The view of mesmerizing and amazing. So many boats were passing below the cable car. Greenery everywhere and we felt pleasant to pass through.

once we got down, we were seeing the place and so many shows and rides. We all are so happy and enjoying every moment there. Kids were so happy and so excited to take different rides. There was one tower with platform, we boarded on that and it took us around 400 feet high and started revolving. That gave us amazing view of Singapore city. it was 360 decree view. we all took so many photographs there.

Then we went to 4D & 5D shows. The show was excellent and it was real time experience of ride.
We also saw the marine world, where fish and sea creatures were kept, Shark and other fish were shown. The day ended with one suburb Indian restaurant with delicious Indian food.

Next day were were taken to Universal Studio. As soon as we entered this place we felt like were in Hollywood. Amazingly designed and constructed with american theme village. All buildings, roads and structures were mind blowing. At some place there was Egyptian theme and big statues of Egyptian Gods were installed. we visited a studio where we were shown how they shoot movie, like boat, sea, fire and accidents etc. We took photos there. Some live dance shows were there on the square platform on road. where dancers were performing. Life singing was going on. The day ended with ride back to beautiful restaurant with delicious food. Every day used to start at 7 am with american lavish breakfast and ended with delicious dinner. Almost more than 12 hours were running around to see the city.

Then next day morning we started to go to Singapore zoo safari and botanical garden. First we went to Botanical Garden where we saw plants and flowers of different species and colors. Again all travelers took many photos there and we headed to Singapore Zoo Safari. There was too much of crowd but every thing handled with proper discipline. When our chance came we boarded a battery operated road train kind of carrier. It was late evening so every thing was dark. The forest was created and animals were kept open and we saw it. it took around 1 hour 30 minutes to see around, followed by dinner at that venue only.

Next day we were taken to Clarke Quey, which is famous night spot of the Singapore. there were hundreds of small eateries serving continental dishes and liquor. We were given Taxi Boat ride and were were amazed to see tall buildings and infrastructure along side of river. Then we went to Singapore Flyer, where huge size giant wheel is installed. which runs very slow and each cabin can carry 20 passengers. It was again a 360 degree view from the flyer. It is near by sea so we could see the sea view. The Flyer was so tall that even our buses were looking like small ants. It was experience of life time. All were happy and enjoying.

That day we were in Singapore till afternoon only as we were to start journey to Kolalumpore by road.

But Me and my whole family was fallen in love with this city and we decided to go again to this city. Then after 3-4 months we happen to visit again to this city for business purpose. We stayed this time in Hotel Chancellor in Little India area. Which was one of the best hotel too. We were there for 3 days and everyday we use to go to Clachy Bay area for dinner.

We also visited Orchard Road, which is one of the best shopping area in Singapore. The Orchard Road is extremely beautiful and lights and decorative signboards and shops or malls are excellent. But this area is very expensive and shopping is really not affordable here.

When we were moving through the mall and descending on next level, there were so many shops and suddenly rush started coming through the moving panels, then we realized that there is a metro station just below the mall.

The roads were constructed scientifically, I can say this because in Singapore it rains everyday, but within few minutes the waster is drained out and roads are absolutely clear as if there was no rain. The traffic was disciplined and everyone is following traffic rules unlike India and one more thing I experienced is there was absolutely no honking by vehicle drivers.

Wherever you wanna go just tell hotel reception and taxi or cab is on the door step. The staff and people are so much helpful and polite. We happen to meet a taxi driver there, who visited India and he was narrating his visit experience to India and how he was irritated by honking and traffic violators. Well less said is better about our traffic.

The airport was absolutely clean and cleaners were continuously moving and cleaning the place. Whole airport lobbies were with rich carpets so may get afraid to step on it.

But then after all we do go home sick for our India. How so it is but it is our nation and it is our mother land. After 11 days of tour we feel like going back to India and we started missing our nation and our city.

But my experience of Singapore visit is excellent and best of my life. I can say that if at all I get chance to relocate our of India, Singapore would be my first choice. It is my dream city and I would love to be there again and again or may be permanently.
